Price spam refers to the act of listing items at extremely low (e.g. $0.10) or extremely high prices (e.g. $9,999), but with no intention to sell the items at the listed price.

Another way price spam occurs is when an add-on is listed as a variation of the product.

To avoid misleading shoppers, any add-ons should be listed together with the main product as a variation, instead of being listed separately. The listing price should include the price of your add-on(s).

For example, if you are selling a smartphone package — smartphone (worth $750) and a phone case (worth $10) — your product listing should include the following variations:

1. $750 for smartphone

2. $760 for smartphone + phone case

If you plan to sell the add-on as an individual item, create a new listing for it.
