Refund Reasons (Starting January 23, 2019)


To help merchants and Wish better track the refund reasons, effective January 23, 2019 00:00 UTC, the following merchant refund reasons will the only ones available: ¡°Store is unable to fulfill order, unable to ship,¡±¡°Item is Damaged¡± and ¡°Item Returned to Sender.¡±

The following API endpoint will be affected:

/order/refund

Refund reason codes 1, 25, and 32 should be utilized when refunding orders via API.

Please make the necessary changes ahead of these removals. After January 23, 2019 00:00 UTC, refunds submitted with other reason codes will error out and cannot be utilized.

Please utilize the refund reason ¡®Item is Damaged¡¯ if the product is damaged in transit.
