Host an Auction 

An Auction on Shopee LIVE lets you pick either random or fastest-finger winners for your LIVE-exclusive product deals. Limiting the number of winners makes your deals seem more exclusive, attracting viewers to participate actively.

Tips

1. To boost excitement by offering a very attractive deal, set your Auction Rule to Random for a single winner.

2. To boost sales with a deal that you can offer in greater numbers, set your Auction Rule to Fastest Finger to gain ten buyers.

You can start an auction during the livestream using the Toolkit icon:

If you're using the Auction tool to offer an exclusive deal, you can use the product name as the Auction Title for easy reference. You can also include the Price of your exclusive deal, if applicable.

Under the Auction Rule:

1. Select Random and one random winner will be chosen.

2. Select Fastest Finger and the first ten viewers to tap on the Auction card will be winners.

 Tip

Select Followers Only in your Participants settings to boost your follower numbers. Viewers will be motivated to follow your shop to participate in the Auction.

Once the Auction begins, the Auction card will display an In Progress label. This changes to End Round when the preset time period ends.

Note

You cannot make any changes once the Auction round begins. If you wish to cancel the Auction, select X on the top right of the Auction card.

The Auction Ranking List panel automatically pops up after an Auction ends. You will be able to see the random winner or the ten fastest winners depending on your Rule selection. Select X on the top right of the panel to continue your livestream session. 

You can also access the Activity Record of your Auctions via the in-app Live Streaming page under the Me tab. The latest livestream session will be listed at the top.

You can view all Auctions conducted during the livestream and the respective winners by selecting a livestream session. You can contact your winners via the chat icon.
