Customer management
With Shopify POS you can create profiles for your customers to save their name and contact details. Recording customer contact details is especially useful for sending receipts by email, and for broadening your customer base for email marketing campaigns.

Creating a customer profile
If a customer has not purchased from you before, then you can create a customer profile for them.
A customer profile can include the following information:
First and last name
Phone number
Notes
Shipping addresses
Whether the customer would like to receive marketing information
Whether the customer is tax exempt
Customer Tags
Steps:
From the Shopify POS app, tap Add customer.
Tap Add new customer..
Enter the customer's details. You need to enter at least a first name for the customer.
Note
If you have Customer Management permissions, then you can add or create a customer tag to assign to the customer.
Optional: To save the customer's details without adding the customer to the cart, disable Add customer to cart.
Tap Save.
